STUN Server Decommission

The STUN server stun.counterpath.com will be decommissioned in September 2026. Check your email from CounterPath sent on August 7th for more details.

Resolved issues

This version contains improvements to the overall stability and performance of Bria and miscellaneous bug fixes.

Includes a fix for a delay when using click-to-dial.
Resolved the known issue on macOS 26 devices where the cursor disappears once the user starts typing in a field, such as the call field and the search contacts field.

Known issues in this version

Bria Version 6.8.8 has a known issue where call history does not display recording of a 3-way call if the user logs out during the call.

Even though call history does not display recording, recording is saved locally. To access the recording file, open Bria, go to Preferences > Advanced > Recording folder and click Open Folder.
To prevent an accidental logout during a call, the app now displays a confirmation dialog to the user.

Desktop API certificate info

For the Bria Desktop API integration, this Bria version includes a TLS certificate which will expire on January 8, 2027.
