Selecting the account to use

The account selection options appear only the administrator of your team has set up an additional SIP account. The default Outgoing Account is Auto Select. Bria uses your Team Voice account to call other team members and the additional SIP account to make external calls. Bria Teams uses the account set as preferred in Softphone > Account Settings (Windows) or Preferences > Account Settings (Mac) for external calls if you have more than one additional SIP accounts.

  1. Click Softphone > Account Settings (Windows) or Preferences > Account Settings (Mac). The Account Settings window opens.
  2. Select the account you want prefer to use from the Preferred account for calls menu.

Bria uses this account for outgoing calls if have not explicitly chosen a different account.

You can also explicitly specify which account you want to use for an outgoing call.

  1. Click Outgoing Account.

  2. Choose the account you want to use from the menu.

  3. Place your outgoing call.

Bria uses the account you select for the outgoing call.
